The first mission of Abel's House is to change lives by leading by example by serving the Lord first before anything else and our newest Director at Abel house was sent by Jesus because he does exactly that.. You will hear his name around Abel's House as Pastor Robert he is a pastor as well as a peer and relates to our members because he at one time was in Prison and now how has turned his life completely around by loving the lord and living by the word of the bible. We would like to highlight one of our long term volunteers at Abel's House Wilbur Quick . He takes other members to AA meetings in the community with him and always is willing to volunteer on any yard work Abel's house may need. We are very proud of Wilbur and want to brag a little about him. He stays accountable and still even texts director Monica every morning. he credits taking guys to meetings and texting GM to Director Monica and many other in what helps him stay sober, HE just moved to cottonwood to help family. God Bless you Wilbur keep it up. Abel s House is very proud of you.

After a while at Abel’s House Michaels life started to change. Michael started to help his peers, he would talk with them about staying sober and making Good choices. Michael started to interact in the bible studies and actually look forward to the meetings. Michael even wanted to go to church to learn more. During all this change Michael was also doing well with probation and he said everything is starting to look up.
